With Bob Johnson

What if the thing making your marriage, your prayer life, and your walk with God feel stuck isn't a lack of knowledge, but a lack What if serving other people isn't a burden, but the thing that actually sets you free?

In this episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton talks with Bob Johnson, a man who recently completed the 100xLife Challenge and has spent decades building men's ministry, from the early days of Influencers in Bakersfield to gatherings that now draw over a thousand men into the mountains each year.

Bob shares his story candidly: a ten-year detour chasing baseball and softball around the world, an altar moment in 1989 that changed everything, and decades since spent building men's community rooted in service, honesty, and freedom. He and Rob dig into what actually galvanizes men, not performance or machismo, but the freedom to stop hiding, to be real, and to serve instead of posture.

The conversation moves through some of the most memorable moments of Bob's ministry life: cleaning toilets before ever being handed a microphone, the difference between having to serve and getting to serve, and a simple but piercing insight about Holy Spirit that reframes prayer entirely. Along the way, Bob and Rob connect the dots between freedom, servanthood, and Rob's own recent revelation that everything in creation exists for one purpose: inviting us to choose love, and giving us a place to practice it.

Bob has now become a 100xLife Coach himself, and shares what excites him most about bringing this process to the men in his life, including a group he's launching in January.
